Happy Holidays: A well-deserved pause to thank the protagonists of this story, YOU!
Reduce Entropy #12.5: The journey has just begun my dear reducers.
Hey there, dear readers and Entropy Reducers,
Today we slightly change the format to resume what has been this year 2022 and all the good things to come in this new year that's just around the corner.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support you are showing to this project, one of the most important in my recently started career as 🌳✍🏽 an environmental writer.
Despite the lack of constancy, I had this year you have always been here, reading and supporting my content.
I thank you for all this and for the support I know I will continue to receive.
I hope you are having a happy holiday and are enjoying (with conscience) this time with your loved ones.
Merry Christmas (late but sure), Happy New Year, Happy New Year, Happy New Year, and any other holiday you will celebrate these days.
May 2023 be a prosperous year for all of us and may we achieve all the goals we set for ourselves.
Each and every Reducer is very much loved!
A Contract Renewal
Since the beginning with Reduce Entropy (and Reduciendo Entropia), based on my knowledge of sustainability, circular economy, industrial engineering (and some others), my goal has always been to educate and divulge information that will help each one of us to progressively transition our lives towards sustainability in order to combat climate change and other problems we face on a daily basis.
Although lawmakers hold great responsibility for the power of change in the short term, that doesn't mean that each one of us HAS THE POWER TO CHANGE WHAT SURROUNDS US.
It is our responsibility to make people understand that it is possible to continue evolving towards technology, digitalization, and constant improvement, without harming our communities and planet.
A drop appears to be small but drop by drop forms an ocean.
A change in one person can become a change for a community and later on for a country.
💪🏾💪🏻 EACH OF US POSSESSES MORE POWER THAN WE REALIZE 💪🏾💪🏻
A Growing Community
Reduce Entropy was born from the mind of Jr Nicolas, an ordinary person who constantly seeks to share knowledge and do something with it, rather than keep it in storage.
There is no point in keeping a book in storage📚, its power lies in sharing that knowledge.
For me it has been a pleasure, writing for you and I plan to keep on doing it.
Not only do you benefit from this process, I learn a lot with each chapter and it's what I enjoy writing the most.
Special mention to...
Special mention to
and , outstanding writers on environmental topics, who have been an inspiration to continue writing consistently and at the highest level. You help to keep raising the bar and to grow not only as a writer but also as a person and even as a citizen.
From afar, a big hug for you.
What awaits you in 2023
This new year I plan to follow the course that the newsletter has been following for the last few weeks, characterized by consistency and quality content.
Obviously, it's much easier said than done, but to get to the moon you have to attempt to fly.
I look forward to bringing you:
Important Climate Change News.
Sustainable products to implement in your daily life
Environmental startups not known locally
Success stories of sustainable alternatives in Latin America (and elsewhere)
(And a couple more surprises)
A little bit more about me
By the way, I'd like to tell you a little bit about the creator and head of Reduce Entropy, Jr Nicolas.

Let me introduce myself: I'm Jr Nicolas, Engineer, and writer, born and raised in the Dominican Republic, the little island in the Caribbean, halfway between North and South America, beside Central America.
Describing myself as a professional, I am a Chemical Engineer by title, Environmental by vocation. With experience in different departments and sectors, including industry.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Environment and I have a couple of studies related to Environmental and Waste Management.
On a more personal level, I am a person with passion and interest in issues related to the environment and its care.
After listening to a certain podcast about Environment and Sustainability, called Una Vaina Verde, I saw that I had the possibility to turn my passion for the environment and use the internet to spread knowledge and help others in their transition to more eco-friendly lives.
That's why Reduce Entropy was born, at least the Newsletter has been just the first step of what my mind has been planning all this time.
It's my pleasure to help you continue to grow with Reduce Entropy.
I hope you are having a happy holiday season.
Keep enjoying with a conscience and don't go overboard with alcohol 🧐🧐.
Always a pleasure reaching out to you,
Jr Nicolas ✍🏽
